Mode/Pentatonic Finding

Listen to each of the following examples and determine if some of the material draws from one of the following scales.

In some cases, other notes/scales will be at work, but the primary scale at work will be one of the following:

Scale/mode	Description
Major Pentatonic	like a major scale with the 4th and 7th scale degrees omitted: C D E G A C
Minor pentatonic	like a minor scale with the 2nd and 6th scale degrees omitted: C Eb F G Bb C
Mixolydian mode	like a major scale with a lowered 7th scale degree: C D E F G A Bb C
Dorian Mode	like a minor scale with a raised 6th scale degree: C D Eb F G A Bb C
